I'm 4 Months Old!

Hi Everyone. I had my 4 month doctor's appointment today. I did wonderful, but I did NOT like those shots. I'm growing so big so fast. The doctor asked me if I was sure that I was only 4 months old because I was doing so many things that a 6 month old normally does. I already have my first tooth, I roll over, I DON'T like strangers, and I'm pushing way up when you put me on my belly. I'm proud to say that I weighed in today at 16 lbs 13.5 oz and was 26 inches long with a head that was 17 inches around. I'm in the 97th percentile for both weight and height and in the 90th percentile for head size (I'm gonna be smart - not to mention tall). The doctor couldn't believe how tall I was. Mommy took some pictures of me when we got home so you can see how cute I am. I have pictures with my sissy's Christmas tree and the big Christmas tree. I love all the lights on the tree. Unfortunately, so does our cat Nutter Butter and mommy keeps threatening to pinch his head off if he doesn't stay out of her tree!

Haloween Fun!

The Pea Pod and the Mermaid.... well it could be a disney movie....

To be truthful the costume made me feel like the kid with all the clothed on in the christmas story, but I loved being pushed around in the stroller from house to house.

We had our very own mermaid fashion show on the front porch with our newly carved pumpkin. Ashlynn had to negotiate regarding the design but eventually we came to a compromise and Daddy and Morgan did the carving.

In case you are not aware, I have no clothes on and this water is getting cold, yet here you are making funny faces at me and taking my picture! And by the way, yes my head is the size of a small planet, but that just means my brain is bigger than average.....

Growth Spurt!

According to the doctors I am doing fine and growing just as I should be. I am sleeping through the night and I have been for quite some time and I am officially spoiled rotten. I love my swing and I am also enthralled by football (mom and dad are particularly happy about this) on the TV. Dad has been a little lax about putting my pictures on here so this morning I gave him the what for and straightened that matter out.

GROWING FAST!

Thought I'd post a few more new pictures. Addison is growing every day. She is nearly 10 lbs now. She's not sleeping through the night yet, but getting a bit better. Once in a while you can even catch a smile now, but still pretty rare. Ashlynn started 1st grade a couple of weeks ago and seems to really be enjoying it. She is a great big sister and a huge help to me. We took her to Branson a couple of weeks ago for her 6th birthday and she had a blast. I have to admit that it was way better than 20 screaming 6 year olds at a birthday party. It's back to work for me next week. I know it's going to be hard to leave the girls every day now, but we'll get through it.

Homecoming!

Addison Brooke Buffington was born at 1:17 am on Tuesday July 15, 2008. Weighing in at 8 pounds even she is nothing if not healthy. While we did have some early complications with being able to breathe normal air (as evidenced by the astronaut helmet in the picture), we are doing fine. We have a very proud big sister who is very excited to have someone to which she can teach new things.
